Today in a widely anticipated ruling, the Supreme Court decided by a vote of 8 to 1 that the death penalty was “totally bad-ass”.  I for once am in agreement with the Supreme Court.  I agree 100% that we institute the movie 300 death pit as well.  I bet with this new ruling there will be far less “murder death kill”.

We have all seem them, strutting their stuff down the walkway or at the club.  They are the daisy dukes “should not be wearing them” club.  There is a very strict guideline that should be followed by all people who intend on wearing daisy dukes.  If you walk out into public and you see any person cringe, vomit, run away, pass out, burst into laughter or burst into flames…go change out of them.  Still wondering if you fit this guideline or not, well let me show you what is not acceptable in any way shape or form.

The first picture is just wrong dammit, wrong.  He deserves a good old fashioned blanket party.  The second picture is, well, um…well…we can all start singing “Grandma got run over by a reindeer” and hopefully it will happen.  The third picture is of a very happy outgoing male.  Someone needs to tap him on the shoulder and ask him kindly to please go home and change or at least go join the Pride Parade and get off the sidewalk.
         

So then the question is simple, what looks okay in the daisy duke attire?  First example, if you have ever made a “Sweatin’ to the oldies” video, we will always let you wear them since you are almost an icon of the outfit.

Now I would have added some more acceptable pictures but then I might get grounded so I will say this.  In your own home, anything is okay.  In public, please respect all those around you.  I mean some of us might be heading to lunch.

August 10th of 2008, soul legend Isaac Hayes was found dead in his home.  For most folks, Hayes was known for his these song from the 1971 Shaft movie and for being the voice of Chef from South Park.  With the death of Hayes as well as Bernie Mac, I am just wondering who the third person will be.  Both of these guys were great and I enjoyed their work quite a bit.

If it is one thing I learned in all the years I played sports, never give the opposition bulletin board material.  Never!  On August the 7th of 2008, French swimmer, Alain Bernard, decided to give the Americans some bulletin board material.

“The Americans? We’re going to smash them. That’s what we came here for,” Bernard said.

I am actually curious about something.  How ******* stupid do you feel now?  Seriously, how stupid do you feel?!?  You not only had the lead in the final 50 meters but you also had a six-tenths of a lead when Jason Lezak even entered the pool.  Lezak not only caught you, but he beat you.  In one of the most exciting races every in Olympic history, I watched the Americans win the gold and the French pout about it.  Bernard took almost 5 minutes to get out of the pool because he actually felt the sick feeling in the pit of his stomach.  Maybe next time you will not tell everyone you are the greatest swimmer in the world and that no-one can beat you in the pool.  You had a head start on your leg of the race and still lost.

Smash us, no.  Lose to us, yes.  Here is a picture for the French swim team to enjoy as it will forever be stuck in your heads.  I have decided to call this picture, “The French Tickler”.

On a side note, Japan’s Kosuke Kitajima was crowned the World’s Best Breaststroker.  Now that is a medal of all medals.
