May I ask some (canned) transgender questions? I usually use them on fundamentalist/conservative sites to shake them up and provide a comment with a comparative viewpoint for those visitors more middle-of-the-road. And you’ll learn a bit more about me.

May I interject a real life situation. I’d like to hear your guidance on this.

My mother was given a drug to take to lessen the chance of miscarriage and promote healthy babies — that’s what the doctor told her. The drug is Diethylstilbestrol, or DES. In male fetuses, it feminizes the brains of one in five of us ‘DES sons’.

I finally came to terms with this, and realized my choice was transition or die. So, I’m now a male-to-female transsexual who’s had ‘the operation.’ I’ve changed all my legal paperwork and although I still have a male body with XY chromosomes, it has been retrofitted to approximate female anatomy, which is good because if I ever end up in an accident, there will be no ’surprise’ for the first responders.

I ‘pass’ very well, thank you. Only rarely do strangers figure out I was not born this way. Most people have to be told, by me, or, more often, by someone else who just has to ‘drop the bomb.’

So my question to you is — knowing what you know now about me, and assuming for the moment you get absolute power to label me and make determinations on where I can and can’t go —

-Which restroom and changing facility do you feel I, a male-to-female transsexual, should use when in public spaces?

-Am I immoral?

-Am I a paedophile?

-Am I tearing down western society in support of a deviant agenda?

-Am I selfish?

Welcome to ihatemykereinhold, and thanks for the response. The story bothered me as well, as you can tell by my story and I do agree with you that referring to “it”, is a very demeaning statement.
Answers to your questions
1 - you say you are a male to female transgender and you have all the parts of a lady, then the ladies room it is.
2 - You are not immoral at all. If deep down inside you feel you are a woman, the girlfriend…let it shine.
3 - Paedophile? Well, that would depend on what age group you go after for your sexual pleasure.
4 - Transgenders are the last thing that is tearing down western society. People like James Dobson from Focus on the Family are what is tearing down our society.
5 - You are no more selfish than any other person. We all have feelings and desires. You have a heart felt feeling and desire to be a woman, go for it.

On this site I know we rant and bitch and make fun of folks but in all reality, I say what others feel and I make sure the world can read it.

One last thing, if you would not mind…we would love to send you a questionaire and do an article on you.

I think the important thing here is Myke, you say what others are afraid to publically. They think it, they want to say something but are afraid of what the world may think of them if they do speak up. You simply put it out there and “let it all hang out” so-to-speak. LOL

In line with the comment line I’d have to agree with Myke. In the case of this story, I think both parties are at fault. One for not being open and out front about the situation and the other for not being mature (or obviously alert) enough to handle the situation with a little more control.

Granted, a situation like that, it would at least merit a hefty “bitch-slap” but I think that’s as far as it should go. *shrug* just my thoughts.

I wonder if Alan killed Angie because he felt like he was duped or if he was just angry at himself for enjoying the sexual pleasure she performed on him? It must have been good enough since he asked her out on a second date.
I’m gonna have to go with the second one cause if he just felt like an idiot for beind duped, the punch in the face would have been sufficient, the beating with the fire extinguisher sounds like he’s angry at himself and taking it out on her.
