Black on black violence…mixed with some crazy cracker

Hold the phones ladies and gentlemen.  I am not about to get into some crazy “Boyz in da Hood” blacks killing blacks.  I am not the person that knows anything about that and would never discuss it.  But I will however talk about how one comment made by Rev. Jesse Jackson that just about made me cry I was laughing so bad.

During a recent interview on Fox News, Jackson was speaking to another interviewee, Dr. Reed V. Tuckson.  During this conversation, one of the open microphones caught Jackson saying…“see, Barack’s been talking down to black people…I want to cut his nuts off”.  WOW!  Talk about letting us know how you feel about the Democratic nominee.  I mean that is some serious hate talk there folks.  You want to cut his nuts off?  Really?  REALLY?!?

This is not even the best part of this story.  Did you know that Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (Rev. Jesse Jackson’s son) is the co-chair of Obama’s presidential campaign?  You talk about making the next family dinner a little awkward.  I can see it now, Jr. asks Dad to “please pass the nuts and gravy”.  The funny thing is that not only are most folks tired of listening to Rev. Jesse Jackson stick his nose into just about anything to get his name out there, but his own son had some nice things to say as well about his father.

“I’m deeply outraged and disappointed in Rev. Jackson’s reckless statements about Sen. Barack Obama,” the younger Jackson said. “His divisive and demeaning comments about the presumptive Democratic nominee — and I believe the next president of the United States — contradict his inspiring and courageous career.”

Jackson Jr. added that he’ll “always love” his father. But, he said, “I thoroughly reject and repudiate his ugly rhetoric.”

Now, Daddy Jackson has made his public apology to Obama and his campaign.  He also said that once this hit the media, the media would spin this into more than it really meant.  What???  If I were to say to Travis…”hey man, that Chris has really been talking down to the end users lately…I just want to cut his nuts off”…I think Travis would feel that I might actually want to cut Chris’s nuts off.  How in the halibut can someone turn this and make it any worse?  You want his nuts cut off Jackson.  There is no other way to read that and not see what you meant.

Okay, so you might be asking yourself why would he say this about Obama?  Well, let me enlighten you as to what made him so made.  In a recent Father’s Day speech at a black church, Obama took absent black fathers to task, saying, “We need them to realize that what makes you a man is not the ability to have a child — it’s the courage to raise one.”  Jackson feels that Obama was calling out on Black men in general and needs to understand that there is more than just “Daddy” issues for the Black community.  Jackson wants Obama to understand that there is more than just “moral challenges” for the Black voters.  The black community is faced with high levels of unemployment, home foreclosures and violence, “so we have some real serious issues — not just moral issues,” he said.

You would think the story would die here, no it does not folks.  When a black man is put down and is slandered against, you know that Rev. Al Sharpton is not far behind.  The President of the civil rights group “National Action Network” said that Jackson’s remarks were “most unfortunate”.  Why?  Because everyone got to hear them?!?

“I hope people will remember the great work he’s done in this country as one assesses this last incident,” Sharpton said in a statement.

Sharpton said people “must be careful not to segregate Sen. Obama and impose some litmus test that is unfair and unproductive.”

“We must be very clear that Sen. Obama … is running for president for all Americans, not just African-Americans — which is why most Americans have embraced his campaign,” Sharpton said.

I have to admit that I was most pleased by Sharpton’s comments here.  We should look at Obama and understand that he is running for President of the United States.  He will represent every American out there, not just a select few.  Now I have been asked who I am voting for and that answer is simple.  Me.  Reinhold ‘08

Just so you know, this is not the first time that Jackson has been critical of Obama.  Last fall, he was critical of Obama’s reaction to the severe charges filed against six black students in the beating of a white student in Jena, Louisiana, a racially charged case that sparked a national outcry.

Jackson accused Obama of “acting like he’s white,” according to a South Carolina newspaper that cited a speech by Jackson at the historically black Benedict College in Columbia.

“If I were a candidate, I’d be all over Jena,” Jackson said, according to the The State newspaper. “Jena is a defining moment, just like Selma [Alabama] was a defining moment.”

All I can say is, “wow”.

Okay, now that the black on black is spoken for, what in the world could I be referring to when I say crazy cracker.  Come on now people, you know what cracker I am referring to…Ralph Nader.  This crazy cracker is running as an independent again.  Now he has made some pretty strong comments about Obama as well.  Now truthfully, if it came down to it, I think Obama could whoop Nader’s ass in the cage…of course I also think that Hillary could whoop his ass as well.  Sorry, let’s move on to Nader World now.

Nearly two weeks ago, Ralph Nader — who is running his own presidential campaign as an independent — accused Obama of attempting to “talk white” and appealing to “white guilt” in his quest for the White House.

“There’s only one thing different about Barack Obama when it comes to being a Democratic presidential candidate. He’s half African-American,” Nader told Colorado’s Rocky Mountain News in a June 26 story.

I am sorry but Nader is one crazy ass cracker folks.  Will someone please lock him in a room with Rev. Jesse Jackson and leave them both in that room until someone comes out with some nuts on a platter.

Seriously folks, when you vote this year.  Take everything into consideration and always follow your first instinct.  When someone seems to fake, they more than likely are.  When someone comes across as an ass (like me), they are.  Vote with your feelings and thoughts, not someone else’s.
