How often have you gone out for dinner and drinks and had horrible service and okay food? If you are like me, you eat a lot and love to eat out. In my many years as a food carnivore I have seen and dealt with just about every type of service you can think of. Now before I begin, understand that I always treat my server with respect and always thank them even if it was bad service and/or the food was bad. When I was young I worked in the food industry so I understand their pain and what they go through. It takes a great person with a great heart and a love for the job to make a great server.
That brings us to John "The Bomb" Archuleta over at Brewery Bar III in Lone Tree, Co. He is now our personal server every time we go and he ALWAYS treats us like his best friends. Now I know what you may be thinking…he treats you that way to earn a good tip. You are 100% correct but at the same time, he has the most repeat customers and his very own groupies (his loyal weekly customers). We have taken many of our friends to eat with us and introduced them and everyone of them loves his service and loves their food. Except one little pork hating mother-to-be.
We still love you Amanda, even if you cannot beat my all time solitaire record.
What makes their food so good? If you like green chili, cold drinks, liqueur filled margaritas and GREAT mexican food, then this is the place to be. There is a total of 3 Brewery Bar’s in Colorado now and they all serve great mexican food. We will always go to the famous and amazing Brewery Bar III just to see John and hear his joyful and exciting voice.
If you would like to see more, please visit their web site at http://www.brewerybar3.com/. If you do not live in Colorado, sorry, but if you let me know when you come to town we can always meet up there and enjoy the evening.

This is the stuff you cannot make up people! Clay Aiken is going to be a father, yes that gangly little guy from American Idol. He actually had “sexual relations” with a woman. Now granted she is 50 years old and he is only 29, but they will soon be having a child. Okay, so I would be the first to say that I thought he was of the same sex relationship type but maybe I was wrong. But then I see him on TV and on the news and I still think he is having sword fights on a regular basis. But then the redemption of the story unfolds…he is just a sperm donor and she was artificially inseminated. The she in this story is Jaymes Foster and she is the lady who has produced several of his CD’s. Wait, he has several CD’s out there??? Okay this story is getting deeper by the minute.

We have let the likes of Vanilla Ice make a CD, Snow made a couple of CD’s before being deported back to Canada but Clay Aiken has several?!? At least with Jaymes Foster being artificially inseminated we can be rest assured that Clay is happily still chasing the pool boy and waxing his legs.

So I work for this great company in Lo-Do (Questar) and also run my own IT Consulting company (Homerun) and have dealt with many vendors over the last 14 years. Many of which always offer you great service and support but in the long run they always do what is best for them and their business. I can totally understand that to a point. But that is for a later discussion…yes your time is coming Mr. Chokes on Cockmoore. That was until my buddy Travis and I met Greg Ask, who is currently employed with Lewan and Associates as a technically sales rep. We met him when he worked for another company, not to be named. Ever since he sold us our first LeftHand SAN module and our first HP server, he has never let us down and has always gone above and beyond what is expected of him. We decided to nominate Greg for "Kick Ass Dude of the Year" but later found out that that award is not even real. Well Greg, take a break, have a nice cold beer and take a bow. So if you are in need of any IT/IS hardware/software/support, do not hesitate to e-mail Greg today.

We will never tell a soul where it came from.

Okay, I know the title is a bit strange and off the wall but I just about pissed myself today on the way home from work. I was just chilling out, listening to some 3 Doors Down and minding my own business on the Light-Rail. Then we stop next to one of the coal trains and all of the sudden I notice that the coal train cars have a big bold painting on them…on every single car…”Do Not Hump Car”. Okay, WTF?!? I almost pissed myself and scared the crap out of some poor old lady who was half asleep. Now that she is awake I point out the train cars and ask her…”Is that really a problem these days?” So let’s think this through, we either have some very seriously strange ass people in this world or the train industry is having some fun with their terminology. I thought about this for some time and came to the conclusion that I am going to say that we have both. The Internet is proof that we have some pretty screwed up folks in this world with way too much time on their hands and the train industry is not exactly glamorous so I can see them thinking this out loud and going for it.

I could not make this up if I tried people. I just saw some folks protesting Shea Homes because they will not re-locate the local prairie dog population. Do these people know that these damn things carry the Black Plague, fleas and a high population has rabies? So if you want Shea Homes to help these little disease infested rodents out, how about you each take 12 home and let them live in your house with you. I mean the one lady had a sign that read, “These animals are God’s creatures too. They deserve to be handled like all animals” Hey lady, I am guessing you are a veggie lover too. Well the funny thing was that we were heading over to KFC so we could get some finger licking good murdered chicken. I suppose I could head over there with the rifle and plug a few and make sure they are clean and then see if they taste like chicken. If so I can think of a great way to help re-locate them. “Get in my belly!”

So what is a movie fan to do these days with all of the DVD and Blu-Ray movies flying around? Well you can go to your local Blockbuster and rent them; you can go to your local Hollywood Video and rent them…unless they have already closed them down and forced you to drive all over town to find the movies you want and hope to God (me) that they have something other than 5 million copies of “Over Her Dead Body”! Or you can sign up for Netflixand receive your movies through he mail and also receive a pre-paid envelope to mail them back in. I mean seriously, I can get 5 movies at a time for less than $30 a month. That means for less than taking my entire army of a family to the movies, I can watch about 20+ movies a month and relax in my nice big fat ass lazy boy chair and not stick to the floor. I am so there man.

So Comcast has started this whole “bandwidth restriction” which in fact is a way to play big brother and stop all P2P, FTP and various downloads from sucking up the bandwidth. I mean seriously, is the RIAA paying you to Big Brother and report on people who use too much Internet?!? Basically they are taking away the ability to use high speed Internet and putting us back to the old 1.5MB Internet. Okay, so 1.5 is still nice but dammit, I wants what I pays for and that is a 6MB Cable Modem line. Why is it that in the US, we have the most expensive Internet and the slowest Internet??? Well Comcast, you just lost yet another customer. I called QWest and will have my new 12MB line with a dedicated IP address installed this coming Monday. Oh yeah, and for the same price as Comcast was already charging me. I really hope the RIAA can pay for your lost customers. DE-DE-DE
